Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients

  • 115ml Unsalted butter (room temperature)
  • 225ml Brown sugar or demerara sugar
  • 1.25g Ground cloves
  • 1.25g Freshly grated nutmeg
  • 2.5g Ground cinnamon
  • 1.25g Ground allspice

For Each Drink

  • 2 tbsp Batter (adjust to taste)
  • 60ml Honey Hunter Rum
  • 120ml Boiling water
  • Cinnamon stick, for garnish

Method

Cream the butter with sugar and mix in the spices and refrigerate it. Add 2 tbsp butter to a warm mug, pour in 60ml boiling water, and stir. Add Honey Hunter Rum, the remaining water, and stir again. Garnish with smoked cinnamon stick.
